Position: Environmental Monitoring / Microbiology Lab Technician
Perform environmental sampling of clean rooms both internally and at client sites using aseptic technique.
Professionally communicate with clients onsite and through written communication.
Initiate, document, and perform microbiological analysis on received test samples (including raw materials, bulk, final product, stability, water) as per USP, in-house, or customer methods. Evaluates and records data.
Follow current cGMP requirements.
Perform bioburden testing on pre-sterilized bulk product and/or components. Evaluate and record data.
Perform quality control testing of media, reagents, and identification materials.
Perform microbial identifications using manual testing and automated systems.
Perform sterility testing of client product samples.
Notify laboratory supervisor, or designee, when out-of-specification results are obtained, and completes appropriate documentation and assists in the investigation.
Assist in special projects as assigned.
Perform data entry for tracking and trending of lab data.
Provide schedule flexibility when directed.
Must be willing to drive: automobile travel 70%
B.S. in Microbiology or Life Sciences
1-2 years of aseptic technique and sterility testing per USP
Excellent English language skills
